Through the long brown electric wooden gate, starting from the Strada del Golf, you drive in a specially designed serpentine through well-kept vegetation of the local fauna past a large carport (with five car parking spaces), uphill to the beautiful and extremely well-kept Casa Due property Cipressi.
The villa, characterized by the typical architectural style of the Costa Smeralda, was built in 1987 by the architect Gerard Behoux on three levels in solid construction on the hillside.
This architectural style was also used in the surrounding houses and properties, which were harmoniously embedded in the landscape and was developed and implemented by Aga Khan IV together with the Consortio Costa Smeralda. However, it must be emphasized that the art of the French architect has resulted in a special masterpiece in this villa, which clearly stands out from the surrounding area.
The outdoor facilities were completely redesigned 22 years ago. The new access situation from the Strada del Golf also took place as part of this. An approved construction plan for an outdoor pool is available.
There are a total of two entrances to enter the interior, one is the main entrance to get to the living area and the top floor and the guest toilet with a window. The second entrance is through a garage area walled off from the house, past the pantry directly into the kitchen, for example to bring purchases to their destination the short way.
The open kitchen with a view of the garden, the terrace and the dining area as well as the living room is fully equipped with a gas stove, dishwasher and a large refrigerator and much more. From here you also enter a spacious washroom with a window, washing machine and dryer.
From the beautiful, tastefully furnished living room and dining area, which is a few steps down, you also look out onto the inviting, covered terrace to the south, which is also shaded by an old juniper tree. From here the view sweeps over the golf course and a little further to the right to the sea at Golfo di Olbia.
Below the cozy living room with an open fireplace built of stone, there are two stylish bedrooms/guest rooms, each with its own bathroom with window and its own sunny terrace, also on different levels. From the main entrance area, a beautiful stone staircase takes you up to the tower room with an open wooden ceiling construction, two bathrooms, a walk-in closet and access to the roof terrace. Of course, from here you have the most beautiful view of the surroundings and the sea.
Throughout the entire interior of the property, the architect has always thought of something special in every corner in the form of partly round walls, ingenious views through the partly unusually shaped windows or in the design of small, practical niches in the masonry. And again and again the ceilings, which are kept stable with open wooden beams, inspire you.
The interior is tastefully Mediterranean and underlines the elegant style of the builder with various tile and stone floors.
The outdoor facilities with the enchanting garden, which was laid out in terraces with plants typical of the country, is constantly being cared for with a lot of love.
Behind the house there is a refreshing outdoor shower and a staircase to the dead-end street (old access road) on Via del Lentischio above the house. There is also a private cistern for a larger water supply.
A large pool can be built to the south of the villa, the permit for this has already been granted. So far, however, the building has not been built, since the most beautiful beaches (also on foot) can be reached not far from the property.
A large practical basement room, accessible from the garden, offers enough space for equipment. The property has its own cistern for water supplies.
North of Olbia in the heart of the Costa Smeralda in the bay of Cala di Volpe, about 50 meters above the hotel of the same name, the property is absolutely quiet on a slope with a breathtaking view of the renowned Pevero Golf Club and the sea up to the so-called Table Mountain (Isola Tavolara) .
You need about 30 minutes by car to get to Olbia Airport. The famous James Bond beach (Spiaggia di Capriccioli, see photos) is about 4 minutes away or about 15 minutes on foot, as well as four others in the vicinity. A marina for boats is also located here. The next two supermarkets are in Abbiadori in the direction of Arzachena, about 10 minutes away by car. Various doctors/pharmacies can also be found here.
A hospital can be reached in about 10 minutes by car in the direction of Porto Cervo or Olbia in about 30 minutes. The well-known, sophisticated yacht harbor is also in Porto Cervo, and the large international luxury brands are located here in the form of small boutiques. In the immediate vicinity of the property you will find numerous good restaurants with good to very good quality in different price ranges.
